now, as some may now, i am a huge pearl jam fan. and what i find most fasinating about them, is since 2000, they recorded every show, to stop illegal bootleggers from recording their shows and selling them off. i myself own 8 of their live albums (12 if you include live on 2 legs, benryoa hall, mirror ball (which was a neil young concert which featured pearl jam, but for legal reasons not stated on album))

but what i find most, most fasinating is the fact that some of these albums break into the top 200 even 100 of the billboard album charts. you see, i thought that the only people who would buy those would be the people who went, or the people who wanted to go. but 11/6/00, KeyArena, Seattle, Washington reached 98, and 2/23/03, Burswood Dome, Perth, Australia reached 38. now remember that these arnt exactly official albums, and i cant see much advertising on them. but thats surely a good effort. not to mention a good half dozen that get close to breaking the 100.
