I'm going to round to the nearest 5.

1 Marcos Ayerza 80

7 Craig Newby 70
8 Jordan Crane/Thomas Waldrom 75
9 Ben Youngs 85

11 Alessanna Tuilagi 70
12 Anthony Allen 65
13 Matt Smith 70
14 Scott Hamilton 75
15 Geordan Murphy 75

Billy Twelvetrees 70

Lumping Allen in with Deacon? Now that's just mean.

Bit harsh on Waldrom, Hamilton and Murphy too in my opinion

This topic has nothing to do with Mccaw being a cheat. If he's a cheat, HB should make it his special ability, like when you pressed Alt to steal the ball from the ruck and the ref didn't noticed.

Besides the joke, alot of players "bend the rules", and if you think mccaw cheats, that's because being the captain makes you the most visible player in what is in my opinion a very disciplined team.

They both seem entirely average to me, could go Deacon 63, Allen 67. I was erring on the side of caution for most players, might've overrated Tuilagi, though.

Never said cheat once...i said he gets away with it...yes he is good at what he does, but it is not a true form of rugby talent such as tackling well...handing off perfectly, etc. Same as schalla Burger...used to do the same thing at the breakdown, now he gets blow for it while Ritchie keeps doin what he is doin...lying on the wrong side of the ruck deliberately slowing down ball, hands in only once the ruck has actually formed...i mean beast gets blown for not rolling, but he can't he is too big even when he tries...Ritchie does it all the time deliberately and nothing happens...that is the frustrating part.

Staying with the Rugby06's ratings system

Italy (74):

Perugini 82
Ghiraldini 81
Castrogiovanni 90
Dellapè 79
Del Fava 80
Zanni 84
Derbyshire 85 (I played against him!!!! U.17 lost 15-70 :( )
Parisse 87
Gori 76 (20yo... give him time)

REALLY DON'T KNOW WHO'S GONNA BE THE FLY HALF... BUT, stay with Gower for a while, cause Bocchino didn't play more than 5' per game

Gower 75
Bergamasco Mirco 81
Sgarbi 78
Benvenuti 78 (20yo... give him time and space at centre, not at wing, Mallett!!)
Masi 80
McLean 79

Ongaro 79
Cittadini 79
Lo Cicero 80
Bortolami 77
Bergamasco Mauro 86 (now he's injuried, so I put him on the bench)
Tebaldi 75
Bocchino 74
Canale 76

Canale should rated 85 with Clermont, 65 with Italy and I still don't know why... maybe Brock James at flyhalf is the answer!

Festuccia 78
Nieto 78
Geldenhuys 75
Favaro 76
Barbieri 72
Nitoglia 74
Robertson 73

Because I love Australia (rated 90 with R06 ):

Robinson 82
Moore 82
mmmmm... last year I would rated Alexander at tighthead, but not now... Slipper 75
Horwill 81
Sharpe 88

Pocock 90
McCalman 82
Genia 87
Cooper 88
Mitchell 90
Barnes 89
Ashley-Cooper 90
O'Connor 87
Beale 89

Polota-Nau 80
Alexander 81 (81 at loosehead! I can't understand what happened since last year, when he could play tighthead as well)
really don't know who's gonna be the 4th prop....... Baxter? Dunning? Blake?
Chisholm 81
Higginbotham 84
Burgess 84
Giteau 86

Possibly overrating a few, but casting my mind back to 08 ratings, it feels about right to me. Seems to me by 08 standards a lot of a players are getting undermarked.

True, but I can't see in Allen what everyone else seems to. *shrugs*
Alot of Tiggers fans can't,
Probably still got his subpar performances of the past at the back of your mind, rather than his improved ones of recent times :p

I've only seen him this season. :/

Can't ever really remember seeing him before this season either tbf, I think he's decent,
Apparently his defence used to be shocking, but he's worked on it alot (which is what alot of people still dislike him before, much like Charlie Hodgson - used to be a poor defender, now good, but still labeled as poor)

Wings order...habana,jp,aplon,mvovo,ndungane,mapoe....

hmmm.. fair enough
I only put Wannenburg in really cause he's got a high stat on 08 and hes one of my fav 7's
I do rate Burger up there as the third top flanker behind Smith n Brüssow

also JJR, you seem to know a lot,
Is Francois Hougaard a specialist wing? Or did he only play wing because FdP plays at Bulls also?
He seems to be a natrual halfback, and his selection at number 9 for the Boks after playing wing for S14 was a shock for me
?? He's a specialist in both spots?

**also
Brian Lima tackling statistics MUST be 90+ !

He's a halfback, who played at wing because FdP is the best halfback. He's a wicked good wing as well though.

He is 100% halfback, but Fourie is the best you can find at 9 and Bulls were a bit short on wings since Habana left and Ndungane got injured. He is good at wing because he runs well and has the agility and strength, but he is bladdy good at 9 as you would know. Try watch some Sharks superrugby games next year and have a look at Alberts at 7...Deysel will be back from injury around end of March. Both are in my mind the best 2 crash ball forwards in South Africa...by that i mean that they get over the advantage line almost everytime they carry the ball. Lima should be around 95 rating (tackling) at least, because he is by far the best tackler i have seen in the backs. But ain't he retired now...he is pretty old...but can probably still tackle like a animal.

hmmmm yeah thanks for that
I did miss a lot of the Sharks :l
(shocking) I heard Alberts played brilliantly for the Boks so yeah fair call
I remember watching the highlight reel and he looked like a beast

Brian Lima I think is still playing Samoan club rugby at Marist St. Pats
