Justin Poore of the St. George Illawarra Dragons is a NSW RL rising star. With his contract at the Dragons up, other teams are making big bids to get him. Both Cronulla and Paramatta have made 3 year deal offers in excess of $1,000,000 AU Dollars (500,716.79 GBP, 567,158.943 EUR). However current Dragons coach, Wayne Bennit has made comments that Poore has been paid more than he's worth. Obviously this did no set well with Poore's manager, Todd Buckingham.
Enter one Mr. Wendell Sailor. Sailor, who won premeirs with the ARL's Bronchos, then converted to Union to become a Wallabie and played Super Rugby for both Queensland and the Waratahs, then was disgraced and banned from Rugby after a nightclub cocaine incedent and is now back in league playing alongside Poore at Dragons, has reminded Poore that long term it is better to chase premiers than dollars.

  3. And I thought Australian teams couldn't compete with Super League outfits when it comes to salary cap rules [/sarcasm]

Is Poore going to feature for NSW in the State of Origin?
