I do feel for Falcons the one time Sale have some decent players fit this decade and it's against them.Aw well...another humping on the cards....might watch a movie instead.
Ah it is what it is. You cant be in this league hoping that the opposition has all their best players injured. I want to see the best players on the pitch..we all do.I do feel for Falcons the one time Sale have some decent players fit this decade and it's against them.
Somewhere Eddie Jones is telling someone "told ya mate, curry is an 8".Not massively sold on TC at 8, but he's a very different player from his previous forays there, now, so have to wait and see
I'd happily have Tigers put out a team of slow moving injured donkeys at the weekend. Simply for the win and bragging rights. "You can only beat what's in front of you" and all that.Ah it is what it is. You cant be in this league hoping that the opposition has all their best players injured. We just dont have the money to compete its that simple...and poor Steve Diamond has a serious job on his hands that i dont think is actually achievable without some investment.
Yay.
Derby day!
Just seems a little odd to have it this weekend - wouldn't New Year be the better option?
That could work, but having an England training session take up half the week was a tad foolish. I think Northampton and Saracens each lost 8 players. Everything just feels amateurish and disjointed.Scheduled in the football 'international break' apparently, hoping to increase interest.

This would make more sense if it was heavily advertised.
I think even Saints-Tigers is pushing it, the distance between Franklin Gardens and Welford Rd is twice that of the Stoop and StoneX, and arguably the Sarries-Quins rivalry is something that only emerged in the past decade.I get why they're trying to push the derby angle, but realistically most of these are fluff - Saints and Tigers is the only proper derby in there
Bristol and Bath is a bigger matchup than Gloucester/Bath, don't know why they didn't have that
Newcastle/Sale there's zero animosity, with most Sale fans wanting Falcons to do well - plus the distance is crazy, Leicester is closer to Sale than Newcastle is
