Premiership 24/25 - Round 7

Could really do with a win but it will be a very tough game, just hope these prem cup games have give the team some cohesion going forward.

Strong lineup for Quins. No Marcus Smith due to England stand-down but otherwise pretty much full strength.

If we want to make the play offs a win here is crucial. Even more so with it being Marler's last game.

Quite a lot of unavailable still; Ellis Genge, Sam Grahamslaw, George Kloska, Joe Batley, Josh Caulfield, Steele Barker, George Taylor, Kofi Cripps, Harry Randall, Sam Wolstenholme, James Williams, Noah Heward, Deago Bailey, Max Malins.

Mata's first appearance should be interesting, Thacker needs some more game time as he's coming back from a fairly long lay off. If Bristol win this it will equal Saracens record consecutive away wins in the premiership but it's hard to see past the home side taking it. A win is definitely still possible though, will no doubt be pacing around the room tomorrow evening.

Slade at 10 shows how impressed Baxter is with Tua and Rigg. Excited for this and also hope it's a good spectacle as I've sold my first born child in order to get a ticket for an uncovered terrace 🤪 what a joke

Really hate 6:2s, but other than that I'm OK with the side - Luke James at 12 is interesting, always thought that was his best position before he moved to 15 (which he did really well at, tbf) because of Manu
Raffi back in the mix and Tom Burrow on the bench - must be tearing up trees in training for them to go 6:2 with a 19yr old lock on the bench while leaving out the likes of O'Flaherty, Nayacalevu, Curtis etc.

Hope that a number of returning leaders in the side can shake the stink of the last few rounds off, but I'm not overly optimistic

Quins getting rub of green here, the difference in advantage is quite noticeable too.

Damn that half was fast pace, loose passing and offloading to ensure it doesnt stop. 3 tries each but damn good intercept and 90m run in by Murley, must be some tired legs at half time.
