I know nothing about what goes on behind the 'closed doors' of the locker room, but thought that in light of what's happening in the NFL it may be something worth discussing.

For those who don't know, Miami Dophins' Richie Incognito was recently suspended from the team for bullying a fellow teammate. To the surprise of many, fellow teammates defended his conduct as part of the NFL's 'locker room culture', and that the bullied player should have been able to take it.

If you're interested in some background on the story, here's a few articles (or just google 'Richie Incognito'):

So, I was wondering if this sort of thing goes on in the pro rugby 'locker room', too. Are there any team bullies whose conduct against fellow teammates is tolerated as part of the rugby culture? Any thoughts, insights, or comments are appreciated!

Not sure this is a culture thing, its more like a Psychotic bully thing. Blokes obviously a scumbag suprised so many teams signed him.

As an outsider, I would agree. But with so many players defending his behavior it has raised the question here in the States about the locker room mentality in the NFL.
