Gutted for Ireland but from an England point of view that’s probably the semi we need. A really exciting game

That was a great game.

Both teams will feel the ref was against them - I'd say France have the better claim for that, but really shouldn't be the story.

Ireland will be rueing only getting 13 in that first half when they dominated

Enjoyed that and think Ireland as a group will have learned a huge amount this tournament, Ireland played better today but France just know how to get it done, when you think the cards, the possession Ireland had and the slanted whether changes, and IMO a slight rub of the green, they had everything going for them and came up marginally short, depending on how they progress over the next WC cycle they could be in the mix next WC.

A red card would have been very likely to change the outcome of that match. I wonder why they didn’t ask for it to be checked, Wafer was definitely looking at her forearm just afterwards.

The Irish clearly did and I think the ref waved it off assuming if there was anything in it the TMO would say, no idea what happened after that, that certainly doesn’t look good not sure if it’s 100% proof but certainly looks extremely likely, probably need to assess the bite mark etc to fully validate.

The video is quite obvious. @Brettruganalyst has it on twitter but the link won't work here for some reason.

12 weeks now reduced to 9, as apparently they hadn't applied any reduction for good behaviour...
That's very lenient, IMO.
I was assuming that 12 weeks was after a 50% reduction for good behaviour - and was grinding my teeth about that

Three deliberate goes at getting her teeth into Aoife's arm in an act of assault and she gets a reduction on appeal.

The disciplinary panel are a ******* joke.
