Match of the Quarters should be Waikato vs. Hawkes Bay, with Waikato wanting to get them back for the loss in the last game and the Magpies wanting to show everyone they arent a one hit wonder, should be great with Donald back for the Mooloo Men.

Mate, after cutting my wrists this morning, at least I've been able to tape them back up after the Bay helped me avoid complete sporting suicide.

That was a pretty well fought game though. The close score was a fair reflection of the strength of these two teams.

It'll be interesting to see if Hawkes Bay manage to get as many players into Super14 rugby as Waikato though. Somehow I doubt it, but I still won't consider this day a complete right off.

i watched the round game between the mooloos and the bay 2 weeks ago as i was home from work and i was wondering how the bay got good.

anyway i ended up with that "c'mon the bay" tune in my head and the mooloos lost so i was left with a big headache.

Kinda a kid of two homes scenario aye.

Born in Dannevirke (southern Hawkes Bay) and family still live/farm there etc.

But went to boarding school (Palmy Boys High) and studied Engineering (Massey University) in Palmy.

Now live in Aux, so 12 years in the Bay. 9 Years in the Watu. 1 year in Aux.

And so ends my brief life story.

Good enough excuse to support 2 teams?

8 more years and I might even switch to supporting Auckland.....or not!

But I'm pretty stoked that I can now go to the semi. Couldn't make the 5 hour drive down to McLean Park for the quarter.

Hope the Magpies give you Auckland boys a decent scare!!

A man of many colors aye lol. Yeah we got a few in my town too but no matter where I am I was born in Windy Smelly Wellyz so thats where my allegiance lies.

I hope the capital takes it to the Cantabs that way we can give Aucks a serving they're due for 1.
