Is the relocation of any sports team(s overall taking all factor into account a good or bad thing.

Loss of fan connection to the relocation team(s) is why it is overall bad.

Is Meadowbank Football Club moving from Edinburgh in Scotland to Livingston in Scotland an exception to it being bad?

In and of itself, it's neutral to bad. But there's plenty of room for "devil in the detail" that can shift it significantly in either direction.

Depends on the support. NFL in American is the sport. It's big business and cities actively try to get franchises to relocate or get new ones.

In the NHL they've just had two new Franchises added in Seattle and Utah. After submitting successful bids.

The problem in the UK is you have lots of sports fighting in a very small space.

For a club it's always bad in my opinion, kills the primary connection they had with the fan base.

For a franchise it depends on the facts I presume but that's mostly an American thing so leave them at it.

For a Province / Region it obviously can't be done or would have to be restricted to a relatively nearby location. I think currently the provinces have it right with their locations but having multiple hosting cities / towns within the province, like Munster and Connacht have done recently is great. I'd support Leinster having a yearly interpro in Kilkenny even though I'd likely often miss it and waste a game on my season ticket.

The only time I can think a relocation might be good is if A moves to B then moves back to A it's original being place A.

But like planting a tree the longer you leave a thing in one place the harder it tends to be to move it as it has putso calked roots down and adapts to it's surroundings.

Like if Wimbledon moves to Milton Keynes is bad but if Wimbledon moves back from Milton Keynes to wimbledon is that goid.

A move that undoes a previous relocation to original location of club is good weather it is always good I don't know but in more cases than not is a good thing.

Why do you keep asking these strange questions? Feels like you have an ulterior motive with all these questions like you are trying to gather information for something.

I think you are working for a company being a spy. There I've said it

It's Mike Tindall gathering information for his breakaway league.
