    I disagree with that gingergenius...

    The Guy was an acting legend of the time, played a key role in the involvement of boosting the magic of the movies... his Performance in Ben Hur is superb for the age it was filmed in....

  8. I quite agree he might of being a good actor but the causes he jumped onto are just plain s**t. <_<

    They even played that 'from my cold dead hands' bit on the radio when they announced his death.
    What a way to be remembered :s

    Never saw him act in any film, so I'm just going to assume he was a good actor, but I have to agree with redunderthebed about the causes he supported.

    Some pretty disrespectfull comments for a movie great. Even if you didnt agree with his politics now is not the time to be slagging him off. Its just a pity he wasnt shot.Wouldnt that have been ironic.

    The "cold dead hands" line is great - the point is that the people should have the guns, not the government. I don't agree with it completely, but I like his independence.
