Robin Sowden-Taylor and Scott Morgan released by Blues

Cardiff Blues have announced the release of Robin Sowden-Taylor and Scott Morgan as their pre-season training gets under way.

Morgan, who can play anywhere in the back five of the pack, has been heavily linked with Newport Gwent Dragons.

Flanker Sowden-Taylor was also expected to join the Rodney Parade side but that deal appears to have fallen through.

The Blues say that the duo "are looking to finalise contracts with other clubs over the forthcoming weeks".

So deals with both Sale and Dragons have fallen through for Sowden-Taylor? Seems a bit odd. With 15 Wales caps, and still only 25, you'd think someone would want him- Espechially considering he'd be cheap.

No I think Sale will be announcing him sometime this week. Says in the article that both are close to deals elsewhere so you would imagine that to be Sale for RST and the Dragons for SM.
