65 tests as a ref 1 RWC final and 2 H Cup finals pretty distinguished career as a ref, though I'm sure some will be glad to see the back of him,

He was always struggling with people seeing him as French rather than Irish. The man is one of the best European referees we had over the years. Sad to see him go.
