Ronan O Gara victim of Leinster / IRFU agenda

Read the following article on how O Gara was axed from the squad, any other rugby nation who produced a player of this calibre would allow the player to exit the stage with absolute dignity and their pride intact. Not this country though, throw him out like yesterdays leftovers.

And its not like there was a any upcoming replacement that warranted him to be turfed out like that.

That man gave the Irish people more lasting sporting memories on the international stage than anyone to date, and the way his was treated in the end was nothing but shameful.

Yeah, who the hell would possibly want to ditch this gem of a player? Players of this calibre should indeed have permanent places in the Ireland team.

Think that kick pass vs Scotland will forever be my favourite Six Nations moment.
I was in tears when it happened

If the IRB had adopted a proposal that was pitched a few years back in which former Tier 1 players could play for Tier 2 nations after their active Tier 1 career, O'Gara could have been playing for the USA now.

Tralalalalalala.

Only shows that he made a huge contribution to Irish and Munster rugby but that was then................let him be remembered for the great he was (but hung around a little too long) like one or two others should be allowed too also!

O'Gara stepped down from International rugby of his own accord, he was suffering from a rare medical ENT syndrome (Ear, nose and throat)
He was having a terrible time with 'Choking'.
He only wants back in because he couldn't back a car out of a garage let alone a racehorse and his debts are spiralling out of control.

That's the spirit!

Never ever question the decisions made by people in a position of authority. Its that very ethos that has the Island of Ireland in the supreme state she is currently in.

Have you ever considered moving to Ireland ? Your attitude is the kind that excels here, who knows you might even get the top job, then you could give similar advice that this outstanding role model of Irish society was able to give when the people of Ireland were asking genuine questions of concern about decisions that people in authority were making at that time.
