The Canes (ranked 3rd) take on the Chiefs (ranked equal 6th).
Canes got bent over by the Brumbies last week and I now how to suffer the gayest sig in TRF history.
Canes I hope you lose… the Chiefs are still trying to build momentum for their first ever place in a Super 14 semi final.
There’s a lot of potential for this game to be a classic match (or a circus of errors for that matter).

  5. Well from what i read in the paper there is a very high chance Ellison will be starting at 2nd 5 with Umaga pushed out one and Nonu put on the wing, well it isnt Toeava in the midfield but hey if Ellison shows any glimpse of how he played when he came on look out chiefs.

Ma'a Nonu on Mils will interesting, that 13 jeresy for the AB's will have them both fired up.

Almost an All Black trial in a way really isn't it not just for those two but Hore/Willis, Kelleher/Weepu, Toeava/Anesi, going to be another great game, unless Wellington's weather shits itself...

Also the game should show some good onfield combinations.. 12 and 13 on both sides... 12 - Tana Umaga, 13 - Ma'a Nonu vs 12 - Sam Tuitupou, 13 - Mils Muliaina plus 11 - Sitiveni Sivivatu vs 14 - Lome Fa'atau should be classic. 7 - Marty Holah vs 7 - Chris Masoe should be entertaining as well.

Agree, on paper these teams are very, very similar, just form and confidence the difference in positions on table, or different draws...

Hatrick for Hore and an 80min try for Paku means Canes got the bonus point. Lots of great kicks, Zinzan was thrilled.

Chiefs a little disappointing, Canes strolled in, in the end... that bonus point could be important in the next few weeks.
