Rugby Balls

I don't currently own my own rugby ball as I just use the team balls. I am going to get one from worldrugbyshop.com, but I was wondering how much difference there is between the XT300, XT400, and XT500.

Is there really an a distinct advantage to buy the slighty more expensive ones or is the 300 fine to use?

The 300 or 400 is fine, I myself use the 500 but they are virtually the same.

I have the Gilbert's New Zealand Ball... Very good!

the gilbert xt500 is the best of the three, but the xt400 is fine as well. Personally I use the Gilbert synergie ball, and the Webb ellis matchball (when I train on my own).

I agree, there are balls other than Gilbert but Gilbert is another one, directly from rugby heaven :lol:
