Rugby Balls

I don't currently own my own rugby ball as I just use the team balls. I am going to get one from worldrugbyshop.com, but I was wondering how much difference there is between the XT300, XT400, and XT500.

You can view all three balls here.

Is there really an a distinct advantage to buy the slighty more expensive ones or is the 300 fine to use?

The 300 or 400 is fine, I myself use the 500 but they are virtually the same.

the gilbert xt500 is the best of the three, but the xt400 is fine as well. Personally I use the Gilbert synergie ball, and the Webb ellis matchball (when I train on my own).

And please excuse me for my so bad english... I'm french.

Alright, thanks for the input! My dad went ahead and got me the XT500 for Christmas today.

I agree, there are balls other than Gilbert but Gilbert is another one, directly from rugby heaven ;)
