Deer friends i open this new discussuion to post old footage and rugby history
ive seen many documentarys about rugby history but any of them even mentions anything about argentina.
so ill be posting about arg history of the pumas and also the clubs history but any posts about all countries would be wellcome
maybe i posted this in the wrong place
the fist post shows the fist welsh tour to bs i bet few people know that arg won the series!
The 1968 Wales rugby union tour of Argentina was a collection of friendly rugby union games undertaken by the Wales national rugby union team to Argentina. The tour also took in five matches against Argentine regional and invitational teams with one test against South Africa. This was the first official Wales tour to the southern hemisphere.
It was the first Welsh tour in Argentina: before onlySoutHA frica, Ireland and France national teams, visit Argentina and South America.
Depstite the fact tha the Welsh Rugby Union didn't considered them as official, the two match against Argentina national team were real test matches.
It was a big surprise that the "Pumas" won the series with a victory and a draw.
