North East Worcestershire Ravens Rugby League Football Club have been honoured to host an evening with the Rugby League World Cup.
The Rugby League World Cup Trophy is currently touring the UK in the build-up to the eagerly awaited Rugby League World Cup 2013 in England and Wales. N.E.W Ravens RLFC are going to be one of only two midlands venues to host the World Cup. The Rugby League World Cup is the only major international sporting event this year to be held in the U.K.
This unique event will offer an open taster training session to all ages and abilities, information on playing, coaching and match officials’ opportunities in the Midlands, as well as a photo opportunity with the famous trophy. Details will also be available of the N.E.W Ravens RLFCs unbeatable World Cup 2013 ticket discounts to all tournament fixtures.
N.E.W Ravens RLFC would like to take this opportunity to invite people from the surrounding areas of Worcestershire to come and visit the cup and be a part of an amazing event which will not occur again in the UK for at least another eight years.
The World Cup will be available to view at N.E.W ravens RLFCs home ground at Bromsgrove Rugby Club, Finstall Park, Aston Fields, Bromsgrove, Worcs. B60 3DH on Wednesday 27th March for juniors 5pm til 7pm and U16s to Open Age 7pm til 9pm.
N.E.W Ravens RLFC Senior squad (U16s, U18s and Open Age teams) start their pre-season training just a week before on Wednesday 20th March at 7pm also at Bromsgrove Rugby Club. New and existing players all welcome to start training for the summer season which kicks off in early May.
