This is my first post in the forum.
I have recently read Moneyball and believe that although the two games are very different in dynamics I do think that there is some way in which to use statistics to help place value on players within the game. I don't mean just the general statistics like line-outs won and lost, time of possession etc although they will play a part. The problem is that I don't know how to get hold of more specific stats.
Does anyone know of anyone or any site where they discuss these kind of things?
