What is the state of the licencing?

If they had licences to write about you can be damn sure it would have been the first thing they advertised.

Instead, IMO we can expect to rely on the modding community or the editor...


What I hope for this game and future titles is more tactical depth.
I want much greater tactical control over my team including playing philosophy. I want to be able to tell my team to go wide and run it for 5 phases and if we are not making metres then we kick for touch or territory.
I want to be able to drill certain mentalities into them and they should listen. If we play tight and in the forwards, I expect better ball retention than playing it wide but at the same time I would like to send a forward or two out wide to provide rucking support for such scenarios. Probably a more mobile forward.

If I assemble a team of huge players with physical superiority, then I expect that to reflect in the collisions, scrums, mauls and defence aswell as more crash balls when attacking.

When I have fast players with some skill they should be encouraged to do the tricks and sidestep etc,

In the last game the tactics just felt very generic.
