Note: This is not my work (aled2912). I take no credit. Congrats to everyone who is helping however. Looks like you've done an incredible job so far.

PLEASE NOTE: THESE UPDATES ARE FOR THE PAL PS3 VERSION OF RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011.

(THEY WILL NOT WORK ON US PSN STORE DOWNLOAD EDITIONS, SORRY).

Here is the latest update (V4.00) of the roster update work going on here. It covers numerous changes and additions, bear in mind that due to likenesses not being suitable for everyone, I've done the best I can. I hope this helps. :)http://www.mediafire.com/?pbntnebivlt7qbz

http://www.mediafire.com/?jxuj5cy79l51tjy

How do you install this....(I'm glad you asked that).

1. First click the link and download the .rar file.
2. Extract the file into a folder on your PC.
3. Take the 'SAVEDATA' folder and place it into another folder you must create called 'PS3'.
4. Place the 'PS3' folder and all of the new contents ('SAVEDATA' etc) onto a flash drive.
5. Put the Flash Drive into your PS3.
6. Look for the roster file under the PS3 Saved Game Data area on your PS3.
7. Copy it onto your PS3.
8. Load up RWC 2011. Load the new roster file using the game.
9. You should be all done. :)

I'm doing it now with New Zealand and Australia, will need help on the other countries.

Wondering if anyone is interested? I'm adjusting player height and weight in accordance to their wikipedia stats also.

I've been trying to do that myself. Gone through only about 4 New Zealand players so far. It's harder than it looks as some of the players need to have all their stats completely altered from other positions. I mean there's no way you can call either of the existing Flyhalfs Daniel Carter.

You can hardly see their faces most of the time, so you sort of need to put them into goal kicker position and then score a try to get a bit of a look. I found that the nearest to looking a bit like Carter for example was the 12 Larry Hunt. I just needed to change height, weight, positions and every other stat to what the guy at 10 (Harper I think) had.

Maybe someone could post up the default players by name and number throughout the squad and reserves?

Gimme 5. I'll get the full NZ and Aus default line-ups on here now.

New Zealand First XV:
1. Taylor Rich - PR - 92 (Either Brad Thorn or Keiran Read - my mate thinks slightly nearer Keiran Read)
2. William Fortuin - HK - 90 (Bald Maori player, probably nearest to Keven Mealamu)
3. Lockwood Hawkins - PR - 91 (Bald Maori player, not sure who to name)
4. Aidan Nash - SR - 89 (Maybe Jarrad Hoeata - nearest looking to that face I can think of)
5. Haki Rata - SR - 89 (Haven't found anyone in the squad who looks more like Mils Muliaina, though this guy looks younger)
6. John Dawson - FL/N8 - 91 (Looks near enough to Anthony Boric)
7. Aata Morgan - FL - 95
8. Noah Carleton -N8/FL - 94 (Actually looks a touch more like Richie McCaw with headgear on than Aata Morgan)
9. Kaelan East - SH - 92 (Maybe Andy Ellis)
10. Ethan Harper - FH/CH/FB - 96 (Not sure who on earth we can name this guy, he looks slightly like a blonde haired Luke MacAlister)
11. Heika Delamare - WG - 91 (Looks like a bald white guy, not sure who'd qualify, maybe changing his body type (Height/Weight) to being more like whichever of the Franks is Bald?)
12. Larry Hunt - CT/WG - 92 (Looks nearest to Daniel Carter)
13. Samuel Reeves - CT/WG - 92
14. Morgan Steward - WG/CT/FB - 93

20. Fetu Henare - SH - 89 (Looks a reasonable amount like Piri Weepu)
21. Tuku Ngata - FH/CT - 94
22. Colin Quigley - FB - 89 (Looks like Jimmy Cowan more than the others)

New Zealand Reserves:
23. Hemi Fox - PR - 86
24. Arthur Tarshall - SR - 82
25. Stephen Power - FL/N8 - 80
26. Duncan Neale - SH - 85 (The nearest I've seen yet to Cory Jane, although he's generic enough to look like Colin Slade).
27. Tau Ma'afu - CT/WG - 84
28. Winston Jones - CT/WG - 83
29. Nathan Hodgson - WG - 81
30. Andrew Highet - WG -81

It's so annoying we can't change any of their faces in anyway, it's really a game of nearest appropriate player.

Because some of these guys are in the wrong position and are the wrong height/weight, it just means that those things need changed too.

so if someone creates a roster file with the fixed up teams, can we download it, stick it on a USB and add it to our games?

Dunno if we can, but I'll be giving it a try when we come up with a finished squads product for the top 2 teams.

EDIT:

Just added some the skill point stats for two default players into the original post, so that we might be able to appropriate the intended number of points per player into our squads, when we change players around.

4. Aidan Nash - SR - 89 (Maybe Jarrad Hoeata - nearest looking to that face I can think of)

This is Jerome Kaino I think.

Default fullback is Ma'aa Nonu .. or closest to it as he's the only one with dread locks.

Wow, he's a lame looking Nonu option, so that's even including the guys outside the 22 in the reserves 23-30?

I thought Nash was the big blonde guy in the forwards? As that's the one I thought Hoeata was one of the only options for.

Apologies your right .. its the deault No 5 Lock not number 4. Number 4 has tanned skin with blondish hair .. kinda like a lame Ali Williams. Only one dark skinned prop .. thats John Afoa. The backup fly half looks like Sitiveni Sivivatu as he's the only dark skiined back.

Great work on those. I agree with your Jerome Kaino too. I think that's the best guy for him.
