The captains of all the teams got together today for pics and what have you.

Who do you think wins each pool? I watched all the World Series events I could but even so I rarely saw the women's teams but that doesn't stop me from guessing....

Mens Pool A: Australia, Pool B: South Africa, Pool C: Kenya, Pool D: New Zealand, Pool E: Fiji, Pool F: England

Womens Pool A: New Zealand, Pool B: Australia, Pool C: USA and Pool D: England

Ok so not many upsets if the first team's not the favorite, Canada's good but not lucky with NZ in all their pools.

Agree on that though I feel France is gonna upset Austalia in Pool A and take top spot.

Samoa have the easiest pool, zimbabwe and phillipines wtf lol. Pool A, E and F could have upsets. Never know what to expect from Wales, Tonga and Fiji

Battle for 2nd in Canada's pool I would think between us and States, Georgia to finish last and NZ to finish first.

Right you are. I think it will be tough for those 2 and well, all the second place teams trying to get into the qf's with so many pools.

Wow Zimbabwe leading Samoa 7-0

Zimbabwe 14 - 7 at half time, looks like I was wrong

Wow... I can't remember any event with the stands like these. Is the stadium totaly empty??

lol its like a huge soccer stadium so it makes it look even more empty

samoa 21 - 14, Zimbabwe were sooo close at the end there for a late eqaulizer

omg)) I wish they did not show this angle view of the whole stands :D It looks like the capacity is 80.000 and the crowd is about 1000. And it's AB game... Fail

Empty stands.... EPIC FAIL!!

This shows the folly of holding major iRB events in countries where rugby is a minor, almost unheard of sport.

What do people expect when the games are in Russia? Also people do have jobs, don't they? To be expected really.

jesus christ, Fiji 47 Tonga 0 did not expect that

Fiji were actually quite rusty in the first half leading 14-0, then the 2nd half they could do not wrong putting 33 points on all in the 2nd half

What do people expect when the games are in Russia?
It was much easier during USSR time - we used to pack recruit soldiers and technical college students into buses and bring them to the stadium when we needed to ensure some decent crowd :D
