Hi,
I recently read that the two basic kinds of running lines are overs and unders. As I understand it, overs are a line outside your defender whilst the unders are on the inside. What other lines are there? Can you direct me to some examples?

Again, I read a brief article on backline formations, these included a stacked midfield and second wave. What other base formations are there? What things should be taken into consideration when deciding on your formation?

Any help gratefully received
Regards

Ask Jake White; he seems to be giving out opinions as if he only has 2 months left to live. I'm sure he'll get something usefull off of Eddie Jones.

Edit; if, in fact, Jake does turn out to be living on borrowed time, I apologize for the tone of my comment in advance. Best of luck, Jake!
