RWC gameplay demo

I know that the game is released in around 12 days, but is there a way I could (legally) download the demo as my xbox isn't connected to xbox live?

I see that you no longer need to be a gold member so just plug your xbox into a modem and it should be pretty easy mate

I don't have a modem....just one of those dongle things. I know that I might be able to get xbox online via pc but I aint really sure how to do it. Thanks anyway for your suggestion.
