[RWC2019][Pool A] Round 4 - Ireland vs. Samoa (12/10/2019)

He really didn't want to play his home country in the QF.

I understand the framework but at normal speed there's not a huge amount he can do. Is he supposed to avoid a tackle?

not a lot of time for him to change from going for the ball to making a low tackle, unfortunate circumstance for Aki

Big difference between that one and others with the player bending, is that the Samoan player bent to pick the ball and actually came up a bit even well before the tackle. He didn't drop just before the tackle like Stockdale did.

Tim Nanai-Williams is so bad now. Jeez he used to be pretty handy a few years ago, he's terrible now. Can't beat people one on one, awful on defence.

such a shame how bad the Samoan basics have gone down hill.
Both Tonga and especially Fiji have improved so much, but Samoa.

It's sad I loved watching them back in the day.

Loving that Japanese? fan in the Ireland shirt with his red beard waving to the camera.:D

I don't like all the reds we are getting but at least we can be happy with some consistency from World Rugby finally.

Teams will have to really watch out for the "Owen Farrell" during the knockout stages with the way they are dealing with it. I'm really scared that a QF is going to be ruined by this

Some very loose passing. Really need to concentrate on keeping possession now.
