Do we know yet what two injured tightheads and two suspended loosehead means for the front row and whether the whole game will have uncontested scrums?

presumably we can play Barrett and frizell as our props?

Italy are flying in 2 new props for this match. They have no choice as according to regulations they have to start the match with a loosehead prop and tighthead prop starting the match and on the bench.

But that is not to say that they will finish the match that way. another "HIA" injury to the props will probabl happen just after the first scrum, and then a rib injury after the second scrum.

My suggestion to NZ is to not make any unforced errors, then you limit the scrums, and you keep the fatties on the pitch...

Presumably that means the two injured props also have to leave the squad? So Italy’s squad would be 29 with the two suspended props having to leave as well?

What would happen if you're unable to field props due to suspension (i.e. you can't replace them in the squad)? Start with 14?

Steve Hansen has the physique of a prop surely. Time for him to suit up.

Smith and Coles are interchange to play hooker and outside backs.

Coles is obviously the outside back cover so you're probably right, if Bender is covering hooker he cant start as prop

What a shame for Italy, didn't get a chance to play for their spot in the finals. They were underdogs but still deserved a chance to play for their outcome. Pathetic from organisers. What a disappointment. Definitely tainted the tournament from here on in.

this is a big setback for the AB's
after two soft games with rotated lineups this game was a critical ramp to launch into the finals from with with the #1 team

The key match for World Rugby/RWC organizers is the Japan v Scotland match; they reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy don't want to have to cancel that one

Absolutely - this is massive for the preparation. Especially if they have to face Ireland who will be more match fit coming off a decent challenge in Samoa.

In regards to World Rankings points.. Will this have an effect? If in real life a draw took place I'm sure it would have ramifications.
