Ryan Smith joins french club Montauban

The article is in french, so for those of you of don't understand, it says that Ryan Smith impressed in the last test against France, and got a trial with Montauban where he scored two tries in two games. This cemented him with the club for next season at the fullback position I believe. I think this is great news for Canadians because it's another player making it in the rugby world.

Mantauban are leading the ProD2 and should be promoted to the Top14 next season. I hope they perform better than Toulon the club which were promoted last season but are now at the bottom of the league table and should be relegated to ProD2 at the end of the season.
