Not too many surprises here- very much as expected, unchanged squad from the one that did the damage vs. India and Pakistan recently.

Squad: Graeme Smith(captain), Jacques Kallis(vice), Mark Boucher(wickey), AB De Villiers(opener and back-up wickey), Loots Bosman, Herschelle Gibbs, Ashwell Prince, Justin Kemp, Shaun Pollock, Andrew Hall, Robin Peterson,Makhaya Ntini, Andre Nel( medication for personality disorder to be provided by team doctor, failing which he`ll be allowed to indulge in some Jamaican green stuff.....), Roger Telemachus, Charl Langeveld.

Would`ve liked another spinning option ahead of the ageing Telemachus, as things stand there`s only Robbie Peterson, and Smith to turn over the arm if we`re really desperate, but pretty much close to our best ODI squad.

whatever happen to your man who the Aussies were whingeing about and had him reported for chucking, Botha was it?

Yup, Johann Botha it is- after working with prof. Tim Noakes at the Sport Science Institute in Cape Town to remodel his action, it`s been cleared by the ICC, however he still has problems with bowling the "doorsa" legally, and without it, he loses the element of surprise.

Not been particularly effective on the domestic circuit without it in the bowling stakes, but has actually opened the batting in the 4-day competition after the injury-enforced absence of former Zim test player Murray Goodwin. Moved right down the pecking order for spin bowlers as a result- Paul Harris, Thandi Tshabalala and Kevin Pietersen`s old buddy Gulam Bodi are probably ahead of him in the national pecking order at the moment.
