Teams:

Sale: McLeod; Cueto, M Tait, Bell, Cohen; Thomas, Wigglesworth; Sheridan, M Jones, Roberts, Gaskell, Schofield, L Abraham, D Seymour, C Jones.
Replacements: Briggs, Forster, Kerr, Cockbain, D Tait, Cliff, Ripol, Tuilagi.

Bath: Cuthbert; Maddock, Carraro, Hape, Banahan; Little, Claassens; Barnes, Mears, Bell, Short, Grewcock, Faamatuainu, Salvi, Skirving.
Replacements: Dixon, Flatman, Jarvis, Hooper, Beattie, Bemand, Davis, Stephenson.

Im for all the changes Bath have made -

Cuthbert has never had a bad game in his (limited) career so far and fully deserves his chance, should take some pressure of Little too with the boot.

Every time Carraro has moved to centre so far the Bath back-line has seemed re-invigorated, + he should be able to inflict some pain with the boot too.

Maddock is one of the best wingers in the league and should stay right there, not at fullback

Little deserves his chance after some average performances from Davis (who should get the nod if things are going well post 60 minutes)

Fa'amatuainu looks superb early on and deserves the chance to prove he can play for 80 minutes, especially with Beattie being so off the pace so far.

Looking forward to Bath's first win of the season, and even if they dont i still get points in the prediction competition so win-win!

Half-Time

Score: Bath 13 - 9 Sale
Tries: Carraro
Pens: Little Thomas (3)
Drops:
Cons: Little

(BBC website is talking ********)

Good start for Little, is this the consistent kicker we've been looking for?

TRY - Matt Banahan - Bath Rugby

'Good work from the Bath forwards through 4 or 5 strong phases. Little inside flick from Little to Matt Banahan who charges through the middle for a try. Missed conversion from Nicky Little.

Score: Bath 18 - 9 Sale
Tries: Carraro, Banahan
Pens: Little Thomas (3)
Drops:
Cons: Little

Bath give away a penalty immediately, missed by Thomas

Sale falling to pieces, 9-23 as Hape (?) scores.

Commentators are useless.

Little converts, 9-25

TRY - Carraro - Bath Rugby

Space opens up again on the right wing, really fast play and good score by Matt Carraro - again! Nicky Little converts:

Score: Bath 25 - 9 Sale
Tries: Carraro (2), Banahan
Pens: Little -Thomas (3)
Drops:
Cons: Little (2)

Agreed, commentary is shite. Think he said 'no. 13' though.

You'd imagine with BBC Bristol, the local Bath radio, they'd at least know their own players names!

Ah, I have BBC Bristol on iPlayer, I just assumed they'd be using their own commentators.

Ripol replaces Cohen - It's like listening to Saints 8 years ago!!!!!

It means they need only 2 converted tries instead of 2 converted tries and a penalty.

That said, it's 2 more tries then Sale have scored all season, but all the same...

Thomas kicking very poorly, thats 3 or 4 missed now

Just the bonus point to get now

Bath down to 13 men as Beatie goes to the bin (killing the ball). Still not enough time for Sale, but a losing BP may still be on the cards.

Little is subbed off.
