Scottish TV Deal

STV will show a 1 hour highlights show of the Magners League on Sundays at 5.30.

Unfortunately though for the Scottish viewers the show will be presented by Andy Nicol and Scot Hastings.

The matches between Edinburgh and Glasgow though will both be shown live.

I'd imagine this is a case of STV testing the water with the possibility of showing more live games depending on the ratings.

Good news, I say. The mroe exposure the game gets over in Scotland (And not just internationally) the better.

STV is on its way out fairly soon, maybe 5 years tops. This is a good start but the BBC should get on this, even if it's just BBC Scotland.

Yeah, interested in why the Beeb hasn't at least picked up just the Scottish games on the cheap like BBC Wales have.

I would have thought they would have at least done the Edinburgh vs Glasgow games as its kind of like Scotland's answer to the Boat Race in England it has such a long rivalry in a kind of noble and proud way.
