Well we had our 2nd pre season game last weekend and i felt slow, like really slow all during the warm up. I don't know if i'm over doing my legs training wise.
Monday - Squats (3 x sets of 5 - 100kg) and Deads ( loads of warm up then 1 x set of 5 90kg (my bad back))
Tuesday - Rugby training
Wednesday - Boxing AM then PM - Squats (3 x sets of 5 - 100kg) and Cleans ( 5 x sets of 3 45kg)
Thursday is rugby training or fitness (running or rowing)
Friday rest
Saturday game
Sunday - Rest
I don't know if i should do less weights and more running or lower the weights and focus on power (but i don't want to loose strength)
Any thoughts? Would love to be faster and fitter this year but i've upped my strength but i feel so slow!
