Somerville out for two months

Bad news for all Gloucester fans as Greg Somerville is out for two months after making his debut in the heavy defeat against London Irish. He has had an operation to re-attach his retina in his left eye.

I always thought this was a really serious injury, I know it used to finish a boxers career before medical advances. Being a prop it must still be a tough one to get over.
