I agree that it could be a good idea to incorporate Canada and the USA in the tournament. Maybe a match against Canada "A" could still provide the South American nations an opportunity to improve their level, by playing against a much better opponent, but maybe they wouldn't lose by +50 points. Having said that, I think that this tournament (with its flaws) is better than nothing/ denying these countries the chance to improve.

hey boys we will never loose a chance to beat brazil at any game!!!!
the uruguay teros also won at seven against arg.
these countries specially uruguay had lots of bonds with arg. i remember touring as a kid to uruguay many times. its also true that we never lost a game in the South american championship..
