As we know, each country will have a squad on the game of 30 players.

Would be interesting to see peoples 22 man squads, and how you would rate the players out of 100.
And what other 8 you would have in your squad.

My Welsh squad would consist of:

1. Gethin Jenkins 87
2. Matthew Rees (c) 88
3. Adam Jones 90
4. Bradley Davies 84
5. Al Wyn Jones 86
6. Dan Lydiate 81
7. Sam Warburton 87
8. Ryan Jones 85
9. Mike Phillips 86
10. Stephen Jones 86
11. Shane Williams 88
12. Jamie Roberts 88
13. James Hook 91
14. George North 84
15. Leigh Halfpenny 86

16. Huw Bennet 79
17. Paul James 84
18. Toby Falateu 80
19. Tavis Knoyle 81

26. Martin Williams 89
27. Dwayne Peel 84
28. Rhys Priestland 81
29. Gavin Henson 83
30. Morgan Stoddart 81

Would imagine others will change this lots and have a fair bit to say about ratings, but let us all know who your squads would consist of and there ratings.
For Australia and New Zealand, go with your actual 30 as there still may be players on there that resemble their real counterparts! :)

Can't be stuffed doing that many players but i'll probably pick a team that has a bunch of exciting young guys just for the fun of it. I wonder if i'll even be able to choose some young guys, i'm sure they won't include every player from each nation. Be cool if they do. Be something like this.

1. Cian Healy (100)
2. Jerry Flannery (100)
3. Mike Ross (100)
4. Ian Nagle (99)
5. Paul O'Connell (100)
6. Stephen Ferris (100)
7. Sean O'Brien (100)
8. Jamie Heaslip (100)
9. Conor Murray (99)
10. Jonny Sexton (100)
11. Keith Earls (100)
12. Fergus McFadden (99)
13. Eoin O'Malley (99)
14. Tommy Bowe (100)
15. Felix Jones (99)

Normally its 4 forwards on the bench and 3 backs ...

Normally, aye, but take a versatile second row who can play back row or a back row who can also play lock and you leave yourself with more options in the backs. IMO, that's where most options are usually desirable.

Obviously only applies if you have a decent & versatile second row/backrow player to choose!

@ dangandan... from my reading of the info today, they are giving us a defined 30man squad and that's your lot, its up to you edit existing players to reflect the names and abilities of the young guns that you'd like to see but would most likely not make the RWC squad in real life.

Yeah, that's what I would prefer. Especially when ryan jones can more up to second row. Plus this is just my ideal team, it isn't really what I would expect tbh.And the ireland team.. I think the ratings might be out by one or two lol but apart from maybe one or two players I should think they'll all be included

no one in the game should be over 95 imo, overall the rankings should be low for the majority of players, and then high for exceptional ones.

As far as team ratings go, overall (I cba to go in depth with full rosters):

NZ - 90
SA - 87
Aus - 89
Eng - 85
Wal - 81
Fra - 82
Ita - 76
Ire - 83
Sco - 79

Averages based upon what I think the player ratings should be similar too.

So, imo, nobody except possibly Adam Jones, Gethin Jenkins and Shane Williams should be rated past 85 (Shane probably taking the highest score as its based on overall), with the actual majority of Welsh players being in the 70-80 range.

I would expect a player like Jonny Wilkinson, based on Overall stats, to be somewhere around 90. Again, some stand out players from england, but Id expect 90% of their First 15 to be somewhere around 75-84

Dan Carter (or Roy Gibson as he will probably be called) could be 94, with the majority of the New Zealand team being within the 82-89 range, with a few standout players of course taking them into the 90.

Majority of NH teams should have their main players within the 75-87 range, Italy maybe 70-80

New Zealand:

1 O Fronks 89
2 K Moleami 91
3 T Woodbine 90
4 A Barec 88
5 B Thern 90
6 J Kione 91
7 R McCow 94
8 K Road 89

9 J Cawin 88
10 D Cortar 96
11 J Rakocuka 89
12 M Nani 93
13 S Bell-Walliems 92
14 H Geir 89
15 M Mauleina 92

;D see what i did there!

Averaging the First XV's of my selections there, the team ratings would be:

Wales 87
England 88
South Africa 89
Italy 84
France 87
New Zealand 91

In hindsight, Wales would need to come down by a couple, as would France, Italy and England. South Africa and Now Zoalind about right though.
