Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and was hoping some of you could help me out.

I'm a recent college graduate and looking to start up a team, but need some more information. Does anybody use any apps or sites for scheduling and messaging each other on the team? It's hard to coordinate a lot of our schedules and have heard it's pretty easy to do on the Internet. Thanks guys.

Since you're in the States, I would look into contacting some clubs around the country and see how they got started. You could start with these guys - http://www.jerseyshorerugby.com/ - they're small, and probably on the same level of what you're looking to do.

Hi,

I play rugby in Belgium. After playing for several years, I switched to a team that started 2 years ago.
We are now very succesfull, and started a rugby school for kids at the beginning of this season. What really helped the development of this team was the presence of people with a lot of rugby experience and knowledge.

So maybe look around and try to contact experienced people. Also you can ask the American rugby union for help.

Good luck!

Where in the US are you? Most clubs tend to use group emails and Facebook pages to get info out for scheduling and such.

We used group e-mail for a while, but people weren't checking enough so we started using some website called athlete-trax. It's actually been really good. We're able to group text or e-mail and got a big discount when we bought our new uniforms. Probably worth checking out
