This summer sees a new sevens tournament taking place in Bristol.
The Sue Ryder Sevens takes place on 27 July at Cleve RFC in Bristol (BS16 9EN). It is a fundraising tournament in aid of Sue Ryder. The event is being endorsed by Bristol Rugby and the first team squad will be on the day to help run the event and support the teams.
So far we have the RAF Spitfires, the Godfathers, the Martyrs, Old Bristolians, Cleve RFC, and teams from local businesses all taking part. We are aiming to have 20 teams competing on the day.
It's full contact, men's rugby and all players must be over the age of 18 on the day of the event. There is a £200 registration fee per squad, and maximum squad size is 12 players. Full terms and conditions are available in the registration section of the website, or on request.
