Am watching Wales v Ireland and something occurred to me [so far ALL the scoring has been from kicks, also one forward has been stretchered off from a scrum, its not great and its a bit dangerous]. The pitch is too crowded to score a try as there's no space to get past the oponents, and scrums are generally a mess with all that brawn. Here's a suggestion to solve both problems - cut the team down to 13 players - have just six in the scrum, this will reduce the pressure and danger in the scrum and will open out the field for more tries!

it all starts with the coaching. the irb should sort out the scrum laws, because they are the ones that messed it up.
however, if back lines are coached properly, then players will be smart, use their skill sets and create enough space for others to go and score.
