Here is the Cheetahs line up:

Cheetahs: 15 Willie le Roux, 14 Philip Snyman, 13 Robert Ebersohn, 12 Barry Geel, 11 Cameron Jacobs, 10 Riaan Smit, 9 Piet van Zyl, 8 Justin Downey, 7 Pieter Labuschagne, 6 Heinrich Brüssow, 5 Izak van der Westhuizen, 4 Andries Ferreira/George Earle, 3 Marcel van der Merwe, 2 Adriaan Strauss (captain), 1 Trevor Nyakane.
Replacements: 16 Hercu Liebenberg, 17 WP Nel, 18 George Earle/Waltie Vermeulen, 19 Ashley Johnson, 20 Tewis de Bruyn, 21 Sias Ebersohn, 22 Nico Scheepers.

Hope the Cheetahs can cause an upset.

I would love to see the Cheetahs pull off the upset, but I think the Stormers should be pretty fired up this weekend after a pretty average performance against the Lions last week....

So we have Craig Joubert as ref and the game will kick off at 3 in the afternoon in what is likely to be glorious Free State weather on a rock hard pitch. The Cheetahs are a team that like to score tries and don't have the best defense in the competition so all in all I'd be pretty disappointed if the Stormers didn't manage a 4-try bonus point win; conditions encourage it and if the Cheetahs get some early tries we'd be forced to take it up a gear and score a few ourselves.

And win we will have to as we are the team with more to lose and more to gain what with the Bulls still capable of going passed us if we lose a game (and they beat the Sharks in Durban) and on the flip side we could still take top spot if the Chiefs lost to either of the Crusaders or Hurricanes. But for that to happen at least 1 of our (hopeful) wins MUST be with a bonus point as I can't see the Chiefs losing by more than 7 and we'd need to be even with them on log points. So we need to take 5 points NOW and if the result goes our way we have our destiny in our own hands from there on.

Anybody have any news on the injury/flu (long-term and short-term) front for the Stormers?

Oh come on! like the Stormers are going to score four tries?? It'll be a good show if they score 3!!

I'll settle for a narrow win :P.
Keep the structure tight, shut the Cheetahs down, manage the breakdown and cruise into 2nd log place.

It's to late in the competition to get creative. Just sit tight, and hope the Crusaders/Bulls/Hurricanes take out the chiefs in the semi's :P.

The flu bug is gone and all trained today, starting line-up is going to be much stronger than last week and I hope we attempt a more expansive approach that we don't try that only in the play-off's

Stormers team: Joe Pietersen, Gio Aplon, Juan de Jongh, Jean de Villiers (captain), Bryan Habana, Peter Grant, Dewaldt Duvenage, Jebb Sinclair, Rynhardt Elstadt, Siya Kolisi, Andries Bekker, De Kock Steenkamp, Frans Malherbe, Deon Fourie, Steven Kitshoff. Bench: Tiaan Liebenberg, Deon Carstens, Quinn Roux, Don Armand, Louis Schreuder, Burton Francis, Gerhard van den Heever.

Why not Roux at 4? Maybe bring on a strong bench as Tiebenberg is also on the bench - so might be looking at playing them off the park in the second 40
Should take the Cheetahs
