Having seen Hougaard playing at scrumhalf in the warm-up games. I honestly think that is where he should play. He was by far the sharpest guy on the field and he made Piet van Zyl and Sarel Pretorius look like school kids. also, i think you guys will be surprised to hear some of the amazing backline moves the Bulls tried vs the cheetahs, involving hougaard from the scrumhalf spot. my 22 would be: 1. Morne Mellett 2. Chilliboy Ralepelle 3. Werner Kruger 4. Flip van der merwe 5. Juandre Kruger 6. Dewald Potgieter 7. Jacques Potgieter 8. Pierre Spies 9. Francois Hougaard 10. Morne Steyn 11. Bjorn Basson 12. Francois Venter 13. JJ Engelbrecht 14. Lionel Mapoe 15. Zane Kirchner 16. Callie Visagie 17. Marcel van der Merwe 18. Paul Willemse 19. Arno Botha 20. Jano Vermaak 21. Handre Pollard 22. Wynand Olivier My 22 is based on what I have read and seen myself. Morne Mellett I think will either show what a beast he can be, or crack. Arno Botha is nursing an injury and hasn't played in the warm-ups. Dewald Potgieter looked very sharp in the warm-up match, even though neither team had a good fetcher playing. As for the 12-spot. It's a flip of a 3-sided coin for me. Francois Venter, Wynand Olivier and Jan Serfontein can play there as all 3 of them had good showings in the warm-ups. If I were Ludeke, I would play Venter and Olivier for the tough overseas games, and then when they come back, give Jan a chance to show what he can do. Also the Bulls extended Serfontein's contract yesterday for the "Foreseeable Future"...
