Noakes kicking has left much to be desired inside the greenhouse.

As you said donmcdazzle, Stormers D has been superb. Highlanders attack been good but not good enough.

Highlanders were woeful. Totally uncreative and out of ideas. Half the time they just got someone like Treeby or Poki runnining into the big men. They needed to play waaaaay deeper and actually try and generate something other than one off runners. Shocking game from the Highlanders.

They needed to run some second man plays to try and isolate the rush defenders by having a deep man get the ball. It was clueless attacking. I'm not sure what they were expecting from the stormers but I could have told them they were going to defend like that.

How bad is the injury to ben smith?

To me that guy has been light years ahead of isreal dagg so far this season. If dagg keeps going how he is id be amazed if he's starting AB's fullback.

Just never seems to make a mistake.

After a gruelling match against the Bulls, travelling half way around the world and then play with a level of committment that fills the other teams with envy - well done Stormers
You had the Highlanders clueless as to how to break your defence and the backline is showing signs of delivering the goods, watch this space..

Delany hopefully will make a difference for the highlanders its obvious that they were lacking any imagination on attack. The crusaders will be alot more of a handfull at home but if the stormers adjust their game a bit and are as committed then they might take it.

Good, aggressive defense won the game as the Highlanders had no answer to it (even the plethora of uncalled forward passes weren't any help). Hopefully we can also build on a better display from our backs though we again failed to continue scoring points and were happy to just back our defense to win.

We'll have to keep scoring against the Crusaders next week as they'll be a bit smarter going about trying to beat our defenses than the Highlanders were on the weekend. Hopefully they aren't on top of their game after the Bulls game and the travel (though 2011 taught us the Crusaders don't really mind travelling) have them a bit fatigued along with Carter's goal kicking not being right up there where it used to be. We can't count on any of that though so will have to be at the best we've been this year to continue the unbeaten run.

Etzebeth continues to play at a very high standard and I am very glad our youngsters are managing to maintain the standards they set in the opening rounds.

Well done to the stormers. This game was won due to their attitude. It is not about what you do, but how you do it.

It will take a special team with a special performance to beat them.

Joe Pietersen is a definate for the Boks.

Joe Pietersen isn't that consistent though. Then again Percy wasn't either.

They kinda look the same, use the same hair products definitely. Although I think Percy used Golden Retriever shampoo.
