Been busy putting together some video insights and would love any feedback (positive and negative)

This one has been the most popular to date:

The rest live on the RugbyLab channel on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/channels/595710

Are the names given the All Blacks calls for the moves?

Nice work, better than Sean Holley's analysis anyday.

Thanks, yeah they are. Simple but effective I guess. You'll probably see a variation of these under Hansen's watch, but were definately implemented under Graham Henry.

Damn refreshing to see an analysis of All Blacks play that isn't just a thinly veiled accusation of cheating.

....Yes G&GR, I'm looking at you!!

Youmerugby:

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on how the All Blacks were able to totally negate the effectiveness of Pocock in the 2011 RWC Semi-final.

From what I have been able to glean from my sources, I understand that they had two ways of dealing with him

1. Running the ball away from whichever side of the ruck Pocock was waiting.

2. Running a fetcher/jackler right behind the Ball Carrier to clean Pocock out before he was able to get his hands on the ball.

I have never seen any analysis to check whether this is true or not.

hey SC,
The only tactic I heard GH speak of was forcing him to commit as the tackler whenever possible (rather than being the jackler/poacher) which kept him busy enough to not be effecting a turnover:

Here's some of what was gleaned, just for you! ;-)
