As we all know it is the final round of the Premiership, the tournament which has been described by some as THE best competition in the world.

Previous notable winners of this prestigious trophy are Leicester Tigers and Leicester Tigers.

Now I know these threads can be as empty as the AJ Bell Stadium (Or Baths' trophy cabinet) and the banter can be as low as David Wilsons' sports bra, but this one shall be different why because it is the final round damn it and with multiple teams needing all sorts of results to finish where they want, here's hoping for a good weekend of rugby so we can finish of the regular season in style.

As is tradition all the games will be played at the same time Saturday 6th May 16:00.

The games are as follows

So what is needed you say:
Wasps - To get a home semi need to beat Saracens, to finish top need to beat Saracens.
Exeter - To get a home semi need to beat Gloucester. To finish top need to beat Glous and Wasps to lose.
Saracens - To get a home semi need to Wasps. To finish top need to beat Wasps and Exeter to lose V Glous.
Leicester Tigers - To finish in the Top 4 need at least 2 points against Worcester or Bath to lose or Bath to win without a TBP.
Bath - To realistically finish in the top 4 need to Beat Sale by a TBP and Tigers to get nothing.
Gloucester - To finish 7th need to (1) Beat Exeter, and Saints to lose or (2) Get a TBP and a LBP and Saints to get nothing.
Harlequins - To finish in the Top 6 need to beat Saints.
Northampton Saints - To finish in the Top 6 need to beat Harlequins.
Newcastle Falcons - To finish in the Top 7 need to beat Bristol with a TBP, and for Saints to get nothing and Glous to lose.
Bristol - ****ed harder than Riley Reid. RELEGATED already.
The rest who cares might as well be in the Pro12 really since it doesn't matter what happens.

Rumours were correct about Sarries resting some players then. But I still think Tompkins has more to offer in the centres than Barritt, plus the engines of Kruis, Rhodes and Burger will still make this very hard work for Wasps forwards.

As a Wasps fan it has been frustrating to see the drop in in performance over the last few games, and I was especially disappointed with the performance against Quins last week when players like Beale and Daly just seemed to coast through the game and sit back.

Wasps better take this opportunity well, but with zero complacency about a Sarries team missing key players, because Sarries will still have the excellent and effective playing system at work regardless of which player is filling the position.

I think this game is more important to Wasps than Sarries, because Wasps tend to be poor away from home, so a home semi would be very much desired. Whereas Sarries seem confident both home and away, and obviously want to manage their Champions Cup chances as much as possible too.

Huge game for Wasps. We currently are playing like a lower-mid table side and don't look like we have the beating of Saracens or Exeter. An away semi to either of those two would spell the end of the road for us, so we really have to turn things around this weekend.

Forgot about that - wasn't the allegation accepted as mitigation, but never actually investigated / confirmed; just that Leota said it happened, and Brew said it didn't and the RFU couldn't be arsed?

I remember at the time thinking it was an odd allegation (from someone who'd very publicly filed complaints when the victim of racial abuse on the rugby pitch), and one that deserved investigating, whether to castigate or exonerate Brew. Ended up as a useful plea bargain that meant diddly squat; and not really earning comparisons to mass-murdering, war criminal psychopaths.

Bath look so slow and clueless in attack whilst Sale looking much sharper. Unless Bath do what we did against Glos and massively up it in the 2nd half, we can forget the win, never mind 4 tries.
