So Rory asked for and received special exemption to compete in the Finals of The Race to Dubai as he has only played 12 out of requisite 13 tournaments to qualify. Quite right too as you should have your No 1 playing and he has missed a lot of golf through his injury.
Have a question - why is he not playing at Woburn in Ian Poulter's revived British Masters which would have made the exemption unnecessary?
One could argue he has other golfing commitments but he was at the Irish game in Dublin on Wednesday!
I really do hope he is not beginning to feel that he is bigger than the game?
