It's been some time followers, far to long some say ... and yet we have arrived back in the same place we set of some year ago. The land of the leprechauns and the pot of gold, the pint of Guinness and Tony Buckley , we come in search of the one they call lucky number 7. We can only imagine horrible things for all with this one.

Mr lucky number 7, good day to you even if its not been a good one. Lucky by name but will you be lucky with us? We the inquisition have some questions for you and you cannot leave until I and my men have the answers to them!
So the questions, lets start simple for you, if you follow we are good to go, if not, we shall start anyhow. lucky number 7 what is the true meaning of your name?

Well having played as an openside flanker most of my life I thought it was quite an apt name for myself on a rugby forum.

Haha so a funny man we have and a man who likes to enter the rucks from the side. We the Inquisition will be watching you. The next question cometh. What is your rugby background sir?

I've been playing for as long as I can remember 6 years of age I believe, and I've been playing ever since. Managed to get myself a few regional and provincial games along the way but not an exceptional player by any stretch of the imagination.

A man with some rugby pedigree then. A man similar to David Wallace is he your rugby idol?
The man, the LEGEND ... Sean O'Brien!!! Sheer guts, heart and manliness combined to make one incredible athlete.

O'Brien! We have heard of this man. We came across him on our travels with Feicarsinn out in Dublin. Funny that. But enough of this reminiscing. We are here for the night and in this town you call Gorey. What is it like? Where are you taking us tonight?

Gorey is a small little town. Thankfully for such a small town we've 15 pubs and 2 nightclubs. A usual night for me is a few scoops in the rugby club followed by a few in the Bridge bar, then further up the main street to Frenches...then Nels , then finally to the theatre of dreams...Gorey's finest nightclub O2. Think overpriced alcohol cramped dancefloor and filled to the gills with inebriated country folk... classy joint.

The O2? This is surely not the place in London? Ah but do not worry, that is a question for us to solve. We look forward to this club. We always hear that Irish people are very proud Irishmen (or women). Is there much truth to this?

See above. Couple the sheer beauty of a solid night out with the lads with centuries of culture and a reputation all around the world for the craic and no matter where you go you'll find a way to enjoy yourself.

and the accent...birds love the accent.

I did not know birds could talk and understand the English language. This finding we must report back to the King! When we last was here in fair old Ireland we asked Sir Feicarsinn about the special dark Irish drink that is Guinness, he said the drink was to be only drank straight. Do you agree?

Yes straight Guinness ...although my mother was very partial to a Guinness and black whilst with child.

So lucky number 7, you caused your mother to add to the magical blank drink? Blasphemy some would argue. Yet we are here not to judge but to report. Enough of the socialising, we are here to research more into this game called rugby. So Mr 7, what is your favourite team?

Leinster, born and raised a Leinsterman, I've pulled on the jersey and it's my home, so no other club compares in that respect.

Another Leinsterman? Ireland seems full of them. Must be glory hunting. However how are Leinster doing since our last visit? We have been on the seas for quite some time and we are interested in their progress.

Haven't really hit the form we've come to love from them, but they've had a poor run with injuries so I don't doubt we'll see the best of them by the end of the season.

Injuries on the battlefields and the loss of key warriors, it is always the story. But alas we the Inquisition predict better fortunes for Leinster. As a keen Leinster fan, when was the last time you saw your men play?

I reckon it would have been last year with Feic... I was incredibly sick that day. I had polished off a bottle of Jameson the night before and as such was in a horrific state for the game. Was enjoyable seeing them put a few scores on our Scottish opponents nonetheless.

Interesting to see that you have met that scoundrel Feicarsinn. He left us high and dry in the Harbour Bar last time, without no why of getting back to our ship that night. So the next question. Tony Buckley or John Hayes?

The Bull. He had his day for Ireland a loyal servant who worked hard ..Buckle is a showpony.

It is no surprise that the Lord of Salford Sir Buckley is not a popular figure amongst most fans. So we hear some strange animals called the Lions are heading to the far long land of Australia next summer. Do you think many Irish players will be on that ship?

Yes. Healy , Best , Ross , Ryan , Ferris , O'Brien , Heaslip , Sexton , Gilroy , BOD , Bowe , Kearney. All squad players.

Many Irishmen will be travelling then. Do you follow any other sports?

Aye I am partial to the occasionally game of wendyball and follow Arsenal consider myself quite the FIFA player too, I also dabble in the GAA and other manly pursuits like hunting and BBQing.

A fan of the Frenchman in London we see. FIFA? Interesting and GAA too. So Sir 7. Why do you like hanging around the smelly place they call The Rugby Forum?

Decent guys all around, love the game as much as I do and the banter... the banter is sublime.

Decent guys ey. We hear they are a feisty lot. Are there members you love and or hate there?

I'd get along with near enough everyone here Facebook being a fantastic tool for TRF shennanigans. Feicarsinn is a bit of a gobshite though.

This man Feicarsinn, we cannot agree more. However he was kind enough to show us his hometown for the evening. So we hear you are a budding scholar, a man in search of the humanities. How true is this?

I'm in UCD at the moment studying History and Geography, However I spend most of my time committing substance abuse and having the craic with the lads, possibility of a course change next year however but I'm not sure yet.

Ah so our suspicions were right. A man who wants to conquer the world. Yet commitment may hinder your progress. A question we ask so frequent on our travels is who is your favourite muppet?

Bleeker.

So our time together is almost up so we must speed up the questions. What is your favourite film?

Would have to be any of the Lord of the Rings. Just the sheer epic nature of them. Nothing brings a tear to my eye quite like the charge of the Rohirrim.

Ah the Lord of the Rings. It is claimed our king is the true ruler with the ring to rule them all. So who is your favourite actor?

Gerrard Butler...that physique in 300.... himself and Daniel Day Lewis.

So lucky number 7, our time is at an end. What is your message to the TRF faithful?

We've got something good here gents...lets keep it going.

Sir 7, thank you dear sir. You have proven to be an intriguing creature. Good day.
