you know, it's funny, I've always felt he looked typically Greek. Like, typical of one of those Greek statues you see with the big, straight-edged nose. And he has the body to go with it, and the intensity on the field, so yes it's totally appropriate !
I don't even think he's ugly per se, just has very "pronounced" features.
