what made jonah lomu rugby the best is that it felt like each team you where playing was different.
but with rl1 every team was the same.= boring

you need to make each computer team play different
make the AI more Exciting
make the AI do alot more things like doing chips if the fullback has droped back
make the ai sometimes spread the ball to the wing on the last then when there about to get caught by the fullback make him kick inside.

make the AI unpridictable

say if you had 3 minutes left on the clock in rl1 and the score was 20 to 24
the AI would do the samething over and over wich is passed the ball and run
the AI did not do chips or bombs or anythink exciting in Rl1.

so in Rugby league 2 the AI should do exciting stuff.

i dont really care about the features i just want Rugby league 2's gameplay to
be exciting.

in real life rugby league is unprictible
which is is exciting
you didnt know he was going to do a chip
or dummy right then push thorugh the diffense

but with rl1 you knew that there going to pass the ball get tackle run
get half tackled offload then run get tackle then run.
after along time you might see them kick the ball once

who agrees with me

thats with every sports game....the AI should also be smarter on hard difficulty's, and not have impossible defense for a **** team or unbelievable offloads and so on.

im with you...excitement and unpredictablity will no doubt keep gamers buying!

What level were you on....?

Cos I play it on International/level 4 of 5 (or whatever the one is that unlocks league God which have done) and the AI is pretty f***ing ruthless except for their scrum defence which is shocking at all levels.

the game itself had many flaws - the penalties being the worst and variety in options (always a problem in league anyway) - but ai not going hard was not one of them IMO.

Lomu's!?

I loved that game (for years) but come on....you can't play a game with no current players, no options and terrible graphics....sure its great to pop the ball and it is intuitive etc but I could never lose and mastered the pop ball and step out etc and it was endlessly winnable and boring......!! Booorrrriiinnngggg!! Almost moved too fast too. For instance, if Rugby 2005 had pop balls it would be much better....if animations were removed too - it would be nigh on perfect bar options/stats/classic matches/extra difficulty settings - why not have five...hell, ten! updates etc.....
