Connacht's get-out-of jail card earlier in the season - a fortuitous abandonment that has allowed them to find form and vault up the table from last to... erm... 7th.

The Champs are in the house and should be like a pack of lions* about to pounce on the little zebres and eat them for breakfast.

*real lions... not those hsbc sponsored imposters on skoi sports.

Oh and FIR, if any of you are in this thread - can you not arrange for the Irish/Scots/Welsh broadcasters to have rights to show the games in Italy? A few quid in the hand is better than none in the bush...

I'd ask a mid to merge this with the round 3 thread but we all know we're free of their gaze in here! Imagine doing a write up for the worse Italian side though... Just wasting everyones time!

Wait? Olyy can ban people? I just presumed his ***le was meaningless and just some sort of really unambitious underfunded make a wish scenario for grown men with nothing wrong with them.

Alpha just to add in. Leinster lost their #1 Spot in Fans turnout according to media due to a pretty poor turnout vs Cardiff. Pity as it was 1 of better games at RDS

Going from refusing to give the Italian sides a preview, to giving one of their game's its own thread after a win by Treviso. A glimpse into the future of world domination by Italian rugby. :)

Giants of the (posting) game can afford to help out the minnows every now and then [even the bitter nordies are magnanimous to the italians].

Justice is done after the first one was rained off with Zebre in the lead. Very surprising as Connacht are far better now than they were when they first met. Connacht pushed a strong Glasgow side in Glasgow last weekend. Hopefully not a false dawn for Zebre and a sign than de Marigny can coach. Could be the last victory Zebre have before being wiped from the face of the earth (or moved to Milan; depending on what rumour you believe). As with last year; they must finish above Treviso to help secure their continued existence. Godspeed Zebre!
