Hi all. This year we're going to be running a predictions competition for the upcoming 6 nations. Here are the rules:
To sign up all you have to do is post that you're interested here.Predictions should be made in the following format:
Team 1 xx - xx Team 2
Team 3 xx - xx Team 4
Team 5 xx - xx Team 6
With the xx's representing the scores.
All predictions should be made in the 'TRF 6 Nations Prediction Competition Predictions' thread.The scoring of the competition is as follows:
1 point for correct result. (Called a draw on the league table)
10 points for the correct score. (Called a win on the league table)
4 Points for the correct home/away score or within 3 points.
3 Points for guessing the home/away score within 4-6 points.
2 Points for guessing the home/away score within 7-10 points.
Predictions will be accepted on the thread up to 30 minutes before kick off in the first game. After that all late submissions must be made by PM. The league table will be posted shortly after the completion of the round of fixtures in question. There'll be an overall table and a weekly table each time.
When ever this has been done before it's been good craic so I'd encourage everyone to get involved!
