Hi, not sure how many on here have played at university level but worth a try.
I'm going to uni next month and love my rugby. I'm a scrum half. I'm planning on moving away but I've heard a few negative things about university rugby with the trials and things like that and I don't want to find myself not playing for anyone. I've had a look at a few local clubs and things like that which are close to the uni but I'm not sure.
Alternatively, I commute to uni and keep playing for the men's first team I play at now. That would mean living at home though which I don't really want to do.
As you've gathered I love my rugby but any advice would be very useful, thanks
