Personelly I found this game unplayable, sure there are alot of limiting features (eg the lottery lineout) but one thing keeps getting me so frustrated that I dont even bother playing anymore. That is the apsolutly apolling ai defence - not the defence of the oposition but the players on you team that you have no control over. Where do i start:

    - they dont line up on the back foot
    - they dont come up together
    - they dont always mark man for man
    - as soon as the ball goes down the line past the inside centre everything goes to pot and the out side players will even run the wrong way

I sure as hell hope WCR2 sorts this out along with the rest of the list that has already been discused in the forum.

I'm going to agree with you on this, the defence is all over the place to be honest. The tackling animations also are pretty dissapointing, and a lack of them too.

Brilliant game Jonah but a bit too open on defence (except on the line).

Suggestions for WCR2 have already been made in that thread which includes suggestions for defence (line shifting across and up). It is up to the developers whether they take on board these suggestions.

  7. Darty,

Check out JJ's site for a history of rugby gaming:

Jonah Lomu Rugby came out in '97 for the Playstion (One). Excellent game, very fun.

Locksley should have a website coming up soon, from what I hear.
