Nothing to see here, especially no nepotism.
I don't think I've ever seen a creepier person in my life. The Addams family would cast him out for being too weird.

Mmmmm, I'm not so sure about that. Giving credit to Trump for this would be similar to me taking credit for the birth of my daughter when all I did was stick out my arms to catch her as she fell out (true story)

October 7th happened (not because of Trump to be fair but also, to be fair, moving the embassy to Jerusalem and recognising it as Israel's capital didn't exactly go down well with the Palestinians, understandably.)

Trump also let Netenyahu drag this out longer than he needed to which has undoubtably cost many innocent Palestinian lives (though this isn't just on him either). He's probably the most pro Israeli POTUS in history so, again, I'm not sure his handling of anything Israel related has been good.

Having said all that, if, and it's a big if, it turns out to be a successful peace deal then that's obviously a good thing and Trump has played a part so I'll say that.

Your not wrong, I think Trump definately emboldened Netinyahu, and had he not this may have ended sooner (or may have got more out of hand who knows), but I agree with @Saintjay that there has to be some credit there, he is front man on both thos war and Ukraine and is clearly making an effort.

Its interesting it is posted and celebrated the day before the Nobel Peace Prize is announced, and we know Trump has pressured people internally, externally, the Norwegians themselves, and had leaders suck up to him by announcing he should win, the question is:

Will he win, and does he deserve it?

The answer is am 100% sure everyone here will agree with me, is No! He certainly doesnt deserve it, his actions domestically and internationally massively outweigh what hes done with these 2 conflicts, and even if you count the potential conflicts he arguably disarmed.

Lets be honest, even if he did deserve it, there would only be a 1% chance hed win it anyway due to optics.

If his name is announced tomorrow, I will be flabbergasted!

Firstly, you can't be Welsh if you caught her!

Secondly, it was trump directly who moved the embassy to Jerusalem. There are a number of reasons why it may not have been a good idea.

Don't forget to take into account that netanyahu needed a war to delay and take the heat off his corruption trial which has slowed down dramatically. He has consistently asked for delay after delay (sound familiar?) because of the war.

Obama won it, and there's a few people think that he shouldn't.

Because he shouldn't have...

But I'll give the comitee credit, it was arguably a prize for hope, and to encourage him to put his words into action, which of course he wasnt doing by escelating the war in Afghanistan.

Ohhh hell yes, it went to a female Venezuelan politician. That nappy is going to be overflowing when he sees this.

He shot himself in the foot by basically running a media campaign for himself to win the prize. Not what you'd expect of a worthy winner. The nomination and pimping out by Netanyahu also probably didn't help.

This is ******* beautiful

Thats such a great statement, not at all what people are claiming it says, but a brilliantly crafted statement that neither insulted, or pandered.

Im not sure if this is them trying to avoid a China style situation again, or whether the speaker is just classy.
